Well im doing uni work again. Its sooo much fun. Actually this one isnt too bad cos its for script writitng and im making up a movie.

Im pretty convinced we arent in the semis for soccer. I logged on to this website this morning that shows the ladder and the results for teams and it has us in 7th place. Im not sure how that is possible, i guess cos all of the points are pretty even around 5th - 8th. Were only one point off 6th and 3 points off 5th. Oh well i guess theres always next season. The prob is that i really enjoy soccer and i know that our team can play really well, its just hard to motivate everyone to turn up to the games and even harder for training. I so want to win games next season, im sick of losing and i think we can do it. It feels so good when you win. And we arent really that bad cos we had a draw with 3 of the 4 top teams and beat one of them. Oh well i will stop dribbling shit now and get back to my script.

I'm sick today. Should be at work but i have gastroenteritis which is a fancy term for a bad stomach bug! Didnt go to uni last night, have been throwing up and generally feeling yucky.

Lukes fam is hosting a 14 yr old japanese girl at the moment. Shes cute. She cooked us a dinner of chow mein and a cabbage and tuna salad...maybe thats why my stomach is aching!

Well we lost soccer yesterday to a team of 40 something crackwhores. Not a bad effort i must say. We were always on the back foot after two of our players were injured and of course we had no reserves so we had to play short AGAIN! Gotta love it!
Luke is down at the snow this week. I know this will sound really dumb but without him around i feel really empty. I mean its only a week but its the longest time we have spent apart in a year and its just really strange. I just feel really alone without him and friday just cant come quick enough. I know people will be reading this thinking get over it but believe me, i dont want to be feeling this way, i just do.

Been on holidays...my first class back is tonight. Havnt been doing much, taking it easy! Thats what holidays are for right? All my uni friends gave like 8 weeks or something ridiculous like that but i only got 2 and in the first week had an assignment to finish so really it was only one. Oh well, thats better than none right?
Anyway we lost soccer on sunday 2-0 to gp.Pretty embarrasing but i suppose when they have a goalie (and a few players) that should really be in the mens comp, what do you expect?!
    Anyway, off to uni now.

Lost soccer yesterday. Pretty funny game. We only had seven players which is the absolute minimum to play with. I think that we did damn fine not to lose by 20-0 or some huge score like that. It was 8-0 which considering how many shots at goal they actually had was a really good effort. Great support on the sideline from Kendall and Luke, thanks for your support guys! Not to mention your consistenely humorous comments! I dont think GR really liked how much fun we were having. And we swiped two of there balls! Not a bad way to end the game.

Haven't had a good few days. Lets start with Friday...the worst of them all. It all started at uni when we got evacuated from our building. There was a fire. That was pretty cool but we all almost died from gas inhalation! Then i had a cross cultural film class and had to watch a two hour long Indian movie with sub titles (thats where it started going downhill big time). Then i got back to my car at Padstow and discovered it had been broken into for the second time. This time i had a whole glove box full of cd's stolen (ive counted bout $700 worth so far - they add up!), they took my speakers and the parcel tray that my speakers were attached to (they werent even very good quality - sucked in!), shrapers i had lying around and a pair of lukes very stinky and dirty shoes worth $100. Not bad for an arvos work huh? To make matters worse, i was by myself and they had tried to hotwire my car unsuccessfully because i have an imobiliser and i couldnt start my car. So i had to wait for the NRMA who almost couldnt start it himslef because they had done such a good jobtrying to hotwire it. My steering was fucked too when the care finally started so the NRMA had to follow me to the auto electricians where my car remains. Another few hundred to fix the bastard. Where the hell do fuckin junkies get off breaking into other peoples property and stealing all of their things. Bet they just needed money for their next hit. Im soo pissed off, but i guess theres nothing i can do about it. To top off my brilliant wkend, i got sick and stayed home sat nite (which was good to catch up on sleep) and then lost soccer on sunday to bundeena. Humiliation! And gem wont be there for four or five weeks...gonna miss ya on the field (and off of course!). This morning i had to rush to finish off two essays and send them to Lismore and now i am meant to be doing one that is due tomorrow which i actually havnt started...better get to it.
I would just like to finish with a statement: life sucks. Bye!

    IM BACK!!!!
Well it has hit the middle of June in 2001 and i havnt updated this thing since the paralympics ended last year!! (Although the dates on my journal are fucked up...i dont know what happened there!) Anyway, i realised that i was less stressed when i was writing in my journal cos i get to let everything off my chest and bore the shit out of people who actually take the time to read this! So where was i? Well at the end of my journal entries i had been seeing Luke for a month or two. Well guess what...we are still together! It is a world record for me. Im also playing soccer again this season. Its still so much fun...a way to get fit and vent my anger! I only play touch rarely cos i go to uni on tuesday nights and occasionally i skip it just to play! Ooh I'm so bad! Anyways, i am meant to be doing an assignment at the moment but i am persistently putting it off...better get back to it. Sure you'll hear more from me soon.

Well the whole olympic experience has finally drawn to a close. After four hectic weeks of watching sport, cheering and drinking, its time to get back into the old routine. I know for a lot of people this happened after the olympic closing ceremony but i have been working at the paralympics which only ended on Sunday night.
I was a photograhy assistant at the cycling so i spent time both at the track(dunc gray velodrome) and on the road course (centennial park). It was great because i was always close to the action and always close to the athletes, an experience i wont forget in a real hurry. Now to catch up on all that lost sleep..............

I picked up my uniform for the paralympics on Friday. I just love the hat!! That has to be my favourite part. I gave my fam a quick modelling show with them on, i was a hit!!
Went out to dinner at the Astral rest in Star City on sat nite for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. It was sooo much fun, i didnt think i could have so much fun with my fam!

Well i am back!!! After my hectic two weeks at the Olympics, my feet have only just landed back on the ground! I dont even feel as though i have had a holiday at all and before i knew it i was already back at college doing the same old stuff again! How time flys when you are having fun! But for me the adventure has really only just begun - the paralympics which i am volunteering at are just around the corner! Tomorrow i am off to my orientation training day and to pick up my uniform. I think my favourite part will be wearing that hat and as i have no hair, everyone is just going to think i am bald! Oh well. I am working at the cycling in the velodrome for the first 5 days and then tha road course at Centennial Park for the five days after that. Thats right, i am working 10 days 8-6 without a break, well isnt this going to be fun!! I just hope that the rest of Sydney and Australia and the world get behind the paralympics the way they did the Olympics because thay are just as important and i think people tend to forget that so if you are reading this, get out to an event or two or three and support our paralympians!!

I know its been a while since i have written but i have been really busy with the Olympics and everything that is going on at the moment. I shall give you a quick run down of my olympic adventures to date.

THURSDAY 21st: We went to the 8.30am rowing session at Penrith which meant that i had to get up at 5am!! It was good once we were out there, saw three Australian crews compete in the semis and they all made that finals in their events!
FRIDAY 22nd: This was a big day, the first athletics sessions. I went to the 10am session with my fam and saw mens and womens 100 metres round 1 plus 400 mtrs mens round one and javelin and shotput. We scored big time with our seats and were sitting right next to the tunnel where all of the athletes come out for their events! Got photos of them all and even touched matt shirvingtons arm with my flag!!
That night Luke and i saw the night session which again provided spectacular views of Shirvo and we saw Cathy Freemans heats along with triple jump hight jump and shot put.
SATURDAY 23rd: I didnt go today instead i bummed with Luke and even did a spot of shopping. We went to a friends for a bbq in the night and watched the Olympics and drank! Does it get much better!! I just have to quickly add that Lisa got her licence! Well done lis!
SUNDAY 24th: A morning athletics sesh today with the fam and luke. It was good. Ducked out ot Bundeena in the arvo with Luke and almost died in an accident in the process, then just bummed and wacthed that athletics at night.
MONDAY 25th: Finally had a little sleep in today but it was back off to the athletics at night. Saw Cathy Freeman win gold in the 400 mtrs,it was the most amazing experience of my life, i have never heard people cheering so much for so long!! It was sensational! Also saw Michael Johnson win his 400 mtrs and Aussie Tatianna Grigorieva win silver on the Pole Vault. What a night!!!
TUESDAY 26th: Had the whole day free so Luke and i played tourists for the day and went into circular key with a disposable camera in tow and then headed off to Manly on the ferry. Saw some olympic athletes too! At night i went out to dinner with my mum and my aunties, it was alot of fun!
WEDNESDAY 27th: Today i have been bumming and im off to the athletics again tonight!!

Im so loving all of this patriotism and olympic spirit at the moment. Even people who i thought wouldnt give a shit are in fact giving a shit and it is all so exciting!! When i was at Cronulla yesterday i invested in a large australian flag (5 metres by 5 metres to be exact) that my sister and i are going to share at the events we go to. I also bought lottsa litle flags for people in my family seeming as though i already have one and got some australian flag sick on tattoos!! Yay! Go Aussie Go!! Just to top it all of i got my nails painted green and gold!! So look out world when i rock up at homebush next i will have my 20 flags in tow, my nails painted and i will be wearing my Australians Kick Ass t-shirt!!

Well i have been quite busy with the olympics and all! I went to watch the swimming on Saturday night. It was unreal. We saw Ian Thorpe break the 400metres world record and the mens relay team do the same. It was the best atmosphere, everyone was going for the aussies!!
On sun i went to lukes cousins 18th with his family. It was out at penrith. It was so hot out there, like 40 degrees and just because my life cant be simple we missed the turn off the highway without realising and ended up in Mittagong, an hour too far so in the 40 degree heat with no air conditioning we had to turn around and double back. Three hours later we ended up at the original destination which should have taken only an hour!!
